These terms cover your use of Grain: Photo Dump Maker ("Grain"), made by Aestheticallypleasing ("we"). By downloading or using Grain you agree to them. Grain is licensed to you through the App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these terms and Apple's agreement differ, these terms apply, as far as the law allows.
Using Grain
Grain lets you lay out, animate and export stories from photos and clips you choose. You may use Grain for personal and commercial posts, such as your own social media or your business's account. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app itself, its templates or its stickers as stand-alone assets, or try to get around the free export limit or a subscription.
Your photos and stories
Your photos, clips and the stories you make with them are yours. We do not receive them and claim no rights to them. You are responsible for what you post and for having the right to use the photos, clips and music in it.
Templates, fonts and stickers
The templates, artwork, stickers and sample photos in Grain belong to us or to our licensors. You may use them inside the stories you make with Grain. The sample photos are there to show how a template looks; replace them with your own before you post.
Free exports and Grain Pro
- Your first 3 exports are free. Video and photo exports count towards the same 3.
- Grain Pro unlocks unlimited exports. It is an auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly or yearly at the price shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Grain Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Prices may change. A new price applies from your next renewal, and Apple will tell you about it first where required.
iCloud
If iCloud is on, your drafts and favourites sync through your own iCloud account. That service is provided by Apple under its own terms.
Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove templates and features in updates. We try to keep Grain working well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Disclaimer
Grain is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in Apple's agreement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost photos, drafts or data. Keep the originals of anything you care about. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Grain at any time by deleting it; to stop paying, cancel your subscription as described above. If you break these terms, your right to use Grain ends.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Using Grain after a change means you accept the new terms.
