Privacy Policy

Grain: Photo Dump Maker ("Grain") is made by Austine Amah. Grain is built so that your photos stay yours. This policy explains the little data the app touches and why.
Your photos and clips
You choose photos and clips with the iOS photo picker, so Grain only sees the items you pick. Grain lays out, animates and exports your stories on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
When you save a story, Grain asks for permission to add it to your Photos library. It does not ask to read your library.
Drafts and favourites
Your drafts and favourite templates are stored on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. That data is held by Apple under your Apple Account. We cannot see it.
Purchases
Grain Pro subscriptions are sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your card or Apple Account details. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase history for Grain, and nothing that identifies you by name or email. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
To count your free exports, Grain keeps a small counter in your device's Keychain.
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-up.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
Children
Grain is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Delete drafts in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your device. Data in your iCloud can be managed in Settings › your name › iCloud. To ask about your purchase records held by RevenueCat, write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
