120 Photo Dump Captions
The best photo dump captions are short, a little dry and never explain the photos. A dump is meant to feel casual, so a month's name, a two-word mood or an inside joke usually beats a paragraph. Here are 120 to copy or remix.

Let the post carry the date
If your dump already says the month, the caption can be even shorter. Grain's templates write the month in for you, whether that's a hand-written "November" under a grid, a Month Receipt or a "thank you, october" sign-off. Then a caption as small as one emoji is enough.

Questions
What is a good caption for a photo dump?
Short and a little dry. Photo dumps are casual, so the caption should be too: a month's name, a two-word summary or a gentle joke. Let the photos tell the story.
Should a photo dump caption use emojis?
One or two can set the tone, but they're optional. Many of the best captions are just a few lowercase words.
How long should a photo dump caption be?
Under ten words is a good rule. Long captions pull attention away from the photos, which are the point of a dump.
